How do I get paid for being a background performer & When is the Check issued ?

All background in film and TV are paid through a payroll company contracted by the production. You fill out a voucher for payment when you get to set.

ALWAYS keep a copy of your voucher. If you do not have access to it, take a Picture of it for your records. That will have the payroll company listed if you need to get in touch.

If the production is using a digital voucher system such as RABS, Elevate or Everyset, you can download a copy of your voucher for your records.

A check or direct deposit will be issued in 2-3 weeks from your workdate for film and television and about a month for commercials, as long as proper documentation has been provided.

For payroll Questions, You need to email the Payroll Company OR the Voucher Company.

HBG Casting, LLC is NOT your Employer.

If booked, the Production is Your Employer.

HBG Casting, LLC does not handle payroll issues but we are happy to direct you if we are able, of course.
